Brian De PalmaAmerican film director and screenwriter Brian De Palma was born on September 11, 1940, in Newark, New Jersey. Like any other normal man, De Palma visited school, then finished Columbia University in New York and began to make his first creation – film “Icarus”! After study, De Palma together with Wilford Leach and Cynthia Munroe and Robert De Niro as a starring released a great movie The Wedding Party in 1969. Making horrors on classic Stephen King novel, sometimes De Palma’ has been compared to the legendary director Alfred Hitchcock. The 1980s was a time of mixed success for De Palma. In 1987 he released The Untouchables with starred Kevin Costner and Robert De Niro. After three years, the world has seen next famous creation of director - Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), an adaptation of the Tom Wolfe novel. The latestfilm of De Palma is The Black Dahlia – 2006. The film was based on the James Ellroy novel telling about the infamous murder of an aspiring actress in Hollywood during the 1940s.
