Ridley ScottRidley Scott was born in South Shields (UK) 30 November 1937. Received an education in the Royal College of Art in London and the College of Art in Hartpulle. After graduation, he worked at the studio as a decorator and later the director of commercials and television series. In 1977 Scott made his debut with the feature film "Duelist", which receives the prize for best debut at the Cannes Film Festival, and draws on the director's attention to the critics. The second work is directed by an absolute hit. Fantastic picture "Alien" (1979) is a landmark event in the history of sci-fi film gets nominated for an Oscar for the work of artists and an Oscar for special effects. In 1982 he released the next picture "Blade Runner", which has received international recognition only in the nineties. In 1982 the tape was removed from rolled less than a week after release, it was a resounding failure. After several years of lull, the star of Ridley Scott once again lights up the starry sky in 1991, in an incredibly atmospheric feminist blockbuster movie "Thelma and Louise", the leader of film distribution for that year.
